I tested the Souke yoga pants for a month to see if they lived up to the hype.

Size
Souke leggings are available in sizes S to XXL. I normally wear a size XS-S, but now that I’m 7 weeks postpartum, my body is naturally a bit larger and more mobile than before. According to the size chart, my size was between M and L, so I chose the large size. Big mistake. I definitely should have narrowed it down. As a result, yoga pants are not as tight around the waist and hips. It’s harder for me to judge how compressed they are and if they roll during practice. 
I had to narrow it down. The legging is slightly tapered at the hips. Despite what other reviewers say, my advice is this:
- If you’re between sizes and looking for pants that can handle everything, go one size down.
- If you are muscular, without being an athlete, choose your normal size.
Power
I live in a warm climate. The temperature rarely drops below 25°C during the day, and doing yoga outside in the blazing sun is almost the same as sweating in a heated yoga class. Made of 78% polyester and 22% spandex, the Souke yoga pants proved a bit too thick to wear for an afternoon workout. After a short run, I felt overheated. The Snatchy Flower pair also shows sweat – the colors get a little darker with sweat. Nevertheless, you may get wet while wearing the Souke yoga pants, but it is unlikely that you will stay wet. The leggings dry quickly, and when I got home I was almost completely dry. Souke’s yoga pants may not be the most breathable leggings, but they have proven to be perfect for cold days. As the temperature dropped, I opted for the Souke underwear, whose fabric seems perfect for workouts in cooler weather.

Comfort and freedom of movement
You know that feeling of tight yoga pants that chafe, stretch and you can’t wait to take off after a workout? The Souke yoga pants, on the other hand, are the opposite. I couldn’t believe how soft the fabric was, especially for that price. If you are looking for yoga pants that you can wear before a workout, after a workout, or just to cozy up at home on a day off, these pants are just perfect! 
The pants do not restrict movement at all because the fabric is sufficiently stretched. But then I went back to a bigger size. The downside is that when I squat, they constantly slide down and I have to constantly pull them up. I think with the right size it wouldn’t be a problem. The Snatchy Flower leggings, on the other hand, are 100% squat-ready – a must for any underwear, regardless of price range. 
I have spent countless lazy days at home in souke yoga pants. They are so soft and comfortable.
Fit and style
If you choose the right size, Souke leggings fit like leggings should: tight around the buttocks and ankles. Unfortunately, mine is a little too loose. Short girls, if you’re tired of leggings that pinch at the ankles (they sure do!), you’re in luck. I’m 5’10” and the Souke yoga pants fall just above my ankle. If you are taller, remember that yoga pants can sit on you like capri pants. In terms of style, the Souke high waisted yoga pants come in a variety of solid colors for the minimalist yogi. If you’re looking for yoga pants that stand out, don’t worry: there are plenty of vibrant patterns to choose from. 
I am small, and the pants fit just above my ankle. I decided to use the Snatchy Flower pattern. He was great on screen and didn’t disappoint in real life either. The colors match the picture. And of course, these pants look expensive right out of the box! The fabric also has a nice matte finish and adds a touch of color to my outfit in a subtle and elegant way. Darkly patterned leggings have a practical side: they don’t have as many visible stains as plain leggings.

Souke yoga pants have a wide and comfortable waist. In my experience, high and wide belts are always flattering and work well for all body types. The belt, however, is simply a two-layer fabric. There’s no extra elastic in it to give it shape, which means it probably won’t be able to hold your tummy in check (or a tummy that’s bigger than flat, for that matter).
Bellows
I liked the idea of the extended gore. This increases the flexibility of the pants so you can bend, twist and fold them at will without feeling uncomfortable. Oh, and it also prevents camel toe.
Inside pocket
You can’t hide your phone in it, but keys and money easily find their place. 
The Souke yoga pants have a flattering high waist and an inner pocket to store your valuables.
Flatlock seams
Thanks to the comfortable seams, I didn’t have any stains on my skin after wearing it.
Sustainability
One month was clearly not enough to judge the longevity of the Souke yoga pants. Nevertheless, several washes (as mentioned above, I washed the pants in cold water and line dried them) and heavy use gave me an idea of what to expect. So far, there are no signs of color fading, seam ripping or thread fraying – which often happens with cheap yoga pants. But I’m already seeing another scary problem: pilling. Pilling is unfortunately common in synthetic sportswear. Even expensive designer pieces deteriorate in quality sooner or later (some even sooner than their cheap counterparts). Back to the Souke yoga pants, I can already see little pills forming in the hot areas like the inside of the thighs. Fortunately, they are not too visible. Plus, the patterned style really hides the flaws. 
Small balls began to form in the thigh. The pilling was no surprise, but there is another problem that concerns me: shape retention. Because let me tell you, no one wants to leave a yoga studio with broken knees. A certain amount of slack is inevitable at some point. However, I felt that the Souke yoga pants take up space after a yoga session and only regain their original shape after washing. If you jump out of your leggings into your jeans right after class, it’s probably not a problem. However, if you plan to shop afterward, keep this in mind.

Yoga Pants Souke: Pros and cons
After wearing the Souke yoga pants for a month, I thought this was the best:
- Grand Prix
- Good performance in cold weather
- Protection against feces
- Very soft and comfortable to wear all day long
- Beautiful patterns and non-glossy surfaces
Here’s what I think can be improved:
- Breathability in warm conditions
- Retention of the form
- No panel to control the abdomen at the waist
It’s not easy to combine affordability and quality when it comes to sportswear. That said, I think Souke Sports did a great job with their yoga pants. So if you :

Are these leggings see-through? No, the bottom of the Souke yoga pants is opaque so you can squat with confidence. Is there sweat on it? It depends on the color and pattern you choose.
